Hosan Vision, a specialized agricultural machinery company, has signed an OEM (original equipment manufacturing) contract with L, a leading domestic agricultural machinery company, for a rice transplanter-specific herbicide sprayer (JEFO-8).
This agreement is the second major collaboration following the OEM supply contract for a sidewalk fertilizer with Company D last month, and is seen as proof that Hosan Vision’s agricultural machinery parts technology is being recognized by major domestic manufacturers.
Hosan Vision was the first company in Korea to develop a localized side-row fertilizer applicator. Drawing on over 20 years of accumulated technical expertise and field experience, the company has developed practical and reliable agricultural machinery. Previously, the company supplied side-row fertilizer applicators to Company D, Korea’s leading agricultural machinery company. Now, following its own development of a side-row fertilizer applicator specifically for rice transplanters, Hosan Vision has strengthened its market competitiveness by signing an official OEM contract with Company L for a herbicide applicator (JEFO-8).
The JEFO-8 herbicide sprayer, the product under contract, boasts the advantage of being easily installed on all rice transplanters, both domestically and imported. Its simple installation structure enhances operational convenience for both dealers and farmers. Its wired remote control allows for spraying distance and dose adjustment, and its 9kg payload, the largest in Korea, significantly enhances field efficiency.
Furthermore, Hosan Vision’s metering fertilizer is attracting attention as a smart agricultural technology that optimizes crop growth while reducing fertilizer usage. By automatically and precisely applying the required amount of fertilizer, it prevents over-fertilization and is recognized as an eco-friendly technology that reduces soil and water pollution.
A Hosan Vision official said, “This collaboration with Company ‘L’ is another example of our agricultural machinery technology being proven in the market, following our collaboration with Company ‘D’,” and added, “We will continue to contribute to improving the productivity and convenience of farmers by advancing technology in the smart agricultural machinery field and providing customized solutions for the field.”
