As a leader in driving innovation in Korean agriculture, our company, Hosan Vision, has been spotlighted by a prestigious media outlet! Last October, reporters Park So-yeon and Park Seong-rae from Monthly People, a magazine covering prominent figures in Korea, paid a surprise visit to Hosan Vision’s headquarters to conduct an in-depth interview with CEO Park Beom-ho and tour the factory. This interview was a meaningful opportunity to demonstrate the social significance of Hosan Vision’s “data agriculture” and other innovative solutions at a time when the agricultural sector is facing crises due to a rapidly aging population and labor shortage. Reporter Park So-yeon expressed deep interest in Hosan Vision’s 20-year history and its strong commitment to domestic production. She particularly resonated with the development story of the side-fertilizer for riding rice transplanters, the first of its kind in Korea, in a market dominated by Japanese products, and which continues to hold the top market share. The reporters were astonished by the evolution of the side-fertilizer through its seventh generation.
CEO Park Beom-ho explained that he believes the future of agriculture lies in “data,” and is expanding his business by incorporating IT. He also participated in a Rural Development Administration project to develop a soil sensor system. The process of analyzing the sensed data with AI to apply the optimal amount of fertilizer impressed the reporters.

Reporter Park So-yeon, who completed her interview, said, “In a world where Japanese products dominate the market, Hosan Vision has dedicated itself to domestic production for over 20 years. In particular, the CEO’s statement that it takes at least five years to launch a single product, three of which are spent on verifying it through direct farming, was deeply moving. This speaks volumes about the company’s sincerity toward farmers.”
